A 10-week programme to equip children with skills to help cope with anxiety.

What will be learned in the Programme?

The 5Cs of Resilience. In five easy steps, we teach kids how to recognize, examine, challenge and change their thoughts.

How to avoid avoiding. Learn a simple step-by-step method to overcome their fears and confidently achieve their goals

How to go from “What if” to “What is.” Kids learn how to stop worrying about every possible outcome of a situation and focus on the most realistic one.

Five thinking distortions or "ThoughtHoles". Everyone distorts reality, but worry can provoke more distortions. Kids learn about common distortions and what to do about them.

How to quash recurring negative thoughts. Kids learn what do with thoughts that loop around the mind like a broken record player.

A relaxation toolbox. This can be practised every day to reverse or eliminate the physical effects of anxiety.

Self-reliance. The person will be encouraged to acquire the confidence and skills to learn how to cope with anxiety attacks, distorted thinking, worries and fears on their own.
